It was three nil but it wasn't easy, far from it! I would get a
lead in each game, get to two points from winning the game and
Rachel would start coming back

Zeina and I played so much in juniors but this was our first PSA
meeting. It's never easy playing someone from your own country
so I'm delighted to win and be through to the semis.

I was struggling with my focus and was all over the place at
times, he pushed me really hard and I could rarely get control
but I managed to sneak the games so that's definitely a good win
for me.
Leo next, that's a repeat of our final last week in Pakistan,
but he'll be more prepared and this is his home turf so it
should be a good match.

and it paid off last week in Pakistan.
"Today was a tough opening match, I was 5-1 down in the 5th so
I'm happy with how I came through and looking forward to
carrying on the momentum this week."

Zeina makes it in 3 hard games against dangerous French
Enora Villard, while today Nada couldn't find
solutions to stop Rachel Arnold. Shame for Ahmed Hosny,
5 games but 35m only, who finally bows to young Yannick Omlor
from Germany.
Tomorrow, Youssef Soliman, Hania Hammamy and Mayar Hany
come in play in the second round
