FINALS

[1] Annie Au (Hkg) bt [3] Hania El Hammamy  11-8, 11-7, 11-6 (34m)

 SEMIS

[3] Hania El Hammamy 3-0 Rachel Arnold (Mas) 11-8, 11-6, 11-6 (26m)
[1] Annie Au (Hkg) 3-0 [4] Mayar Hany              11-4, 11-6, 11-5 (24m)

[2] Leo Au (Hkg) 3-1 [6] Youssef Soliman 11-9, 7-11, 11-8, 11-8 (53m)

It was three nil but it wasn't easy, far from it! I would get a lead in each game, get to two points from winning the game and Rachel would start coming back

QUARTERS

[3] Hania El Hammamy 3-0 Zeina Mickawy          11-6, 11-2, 11-7 (25m)

[6] Youssef Soliman 3-1 [4] Nafiizwan Adnan (Mas) 12-10 8-11 12-10 11-8 (65m)
[4] Mayar Hany 3-2 Danielle Letourneau (Can) 10-12 11-6 10-12 11-8 11-4 (44m)

Zeina and I played so much in juniors but this was our first PSA meeting. It's never easy playing someone from your own country so I'm delighted to win and be through to the semis.

I was struggling with my focus and was all over the place at times, he pushed me really hard and I could rarely get control but I managed to sneak the games so that's definitely a good win for me.

Leo next, that's a repeat of our final last week in Pakistan, but he'll be more prepared and this is his home turf so it should be a good match.

ROUND TWO

Zeina Mickawy 3-1 [5] Liu Tsz-Ling (Hkg)          11-9, 8-11, 11-2, 11-8 (36m)
[3] Hania El Hammamy 3-1 Tong Tsz-Wing (Hkg) 11-5, 11-13, 11-8, 11-6 (45m)
[4] Mayar Hany 3-0 Lee Ka Yi (Hkg)                           11-8, 11-8, 11-6 (23m)

[6] Youssef Soliman 3-2 Ivan Yuen (Mas)  14-12, 6-11, 4-11, 11-8, 11-5 (69m)

[4] Mayar Hany 3-0 Lee Ka Yi (Hkg)                           11-8, 11-8, 11-6 (23m)

"I lost here last year to a Hong Kong girls, that's why I was so intense today !"

[6] Youssef Soliman 3-2 Ivan Yuen (Mas)  14-12, 6-11, 4-11, 11-8, 11-5 (69m)

"I had a good intensive summer training, between Cairo and Bristol, and it paid off last week in Pakistan.

"Today was a tough opening match, I was 5-1 down in the 5th so I'm happy with how I came through and looking forward to carrying on the momentum this week."

Zeina makes it in 3 hard games against dangerous French Enora Villard, while today Nada couldn't find solutions to stop Rachel Arnold. Shame for Ahmed Hosny, 5 games but 35m only, who finally bows to young Yannick Omlor from Germany.
Tomorrow, Youssef Soliman, Hania Hammamy and Mayar Hany come in play in the second round
